Q. What does "Minimum security updates period" column mean?
A. It means that your product will receive software security updates at a minimum until the reported date, otherwise the product is still under management and therefore your product will receive software security updates at a minimum for X years from phase-out. The table is constantly updated.
Q. What does it mean “updatable product”?
A. It means a product that can receive a firmware or software update.
Please note that not all Vimar products are updatable, you can think for example to an electromechanical product or product with limited software or hardware capabilities.
Q. How do I know if my product is updatable?
A. Check the product documentation to see if it benefits of automatic updates, otherwise check whether there are any software update to be installed manually on the product sheet or in the "Software & apps" of our website.
Always remember to have the latest version of the software installed to be protected against security vulnerabilities.
