W Hotel, Istanbul
Design and tradition in perfect harmony.
The hotel is part of the famous Akaretler Row Houses in Besiktas. Built by Sultan Adbulaziz between 1870 and 1880, the recent full renovation preserved the original spirit and atmosphere, making it an emblem of the magnificence and
decadence of the 19th century Ottoman Empire. The hotel design combines authentic Ottoman style with exclusive elements bringing a multi-sensory experience of contemporary design and comfort, embracing the heritage and culture
of the historical building alongside the magic of Istanbul. The 134 luxury rooms and suites in the hotel have a private garden, terrace and beach hut. Each range features decor and lighting concepts in a sophisticated fusion of modern and
traditional Turkish design: high ceilings, arched wood frame windows, airy spaces and state-of-the-art entertainment systems. The classic sobriety of the evergreen series Idea blends harmoniously into this prestigious context, while a sophisticated CCTV system watches silently over the safety of the guests.
