Vimar partners up with Casambi for increasingly sophisticated light management

Having always been an international benchmark for energy and lighting control, Vimar recently entered into a partnership with Casambi, a leader in wireless lighting control solutions based on the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocol.

The objective is to offer the market an aesthetically attractive control solution for Casambi technology-based systems, featuring the Made in Italy design of Vimar’s Eikon, Linea, Arké and Plana wiring series, designed seamlessly to integrate into any setting through unique shapes and finishes, countless colour combinations, customised symbols associated with the controls and engraved logos on the cover plate.

Vimar controls for Casambi are available:

·       natively on BLE wireless technology, utilising battery-free controls (arts. 03925, 30502);

·       in an integrated manner, using the bus controls of the By-me Plus home automation and KNX building automation systems,

Wireless radio frequency BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) controls offer exceptional versatility: they require no maintenance, are ideal for renovations, can be installed on any surface (including glass and wood), and operate without electricity or batteries. Moreover, they allow for the management of up to 4 different functions, thanks to the customisation of the lighting device with 1- or 2-module buttons and a wide range of symbols, clearly indicating the function associated with each button.
