Vimar expands its product range with KNX protocol

Linea XT e View Wireless

Ever closer to the KNX world, Vimar continues to develop products and systems based on this important technology.
Effective immediately, in order to be present also in large-size facilities and ensure compatibility with third-party systems, the innovative Linea with XT platform, already available for the By-me Plus home automation system, is expanding with the new range of products for Home & Building automation with KNX Secure protocol.

The XT platform satisfies the latest styling and functional trends, offering an ergonomic and elegant design: controls featuring a flat design, extending across the entire surface and activated anywhere on the surface; highly ergonomic feedback based on microswitch technology and dynamic and customisable LED matrix icons; proximity sensor for icon activation as the hand approaches, ample scalability and expandability of functions. Attention to the smallest detail means the XT platform supports are also supplied with the option to integrate traditional devices, to offer a complete, innovative and top-performing system, available in three colour variants, black, white and canvas.

In addition, in the KNX line-up, Vimar has introduced the new 5” touch screen, to supervise an entire environment in all its functions (lights, dimmer, RGB, RGBW, roller shutters, audio source control, air quality and 4 temperature control zones).

For both vertical and horizontal installation in 2- and 3-module boxes, it is available in two finishes - black and white - with details in satin finish aluminium.

The hardware equipment includes a proximity sensor to wake it up from stand-by, a LED bar to get around in the dark or to signal any alarms, a display with differentiated day/night brightness and customisable icons, built-in temperature sensor for thermostat functions, as well as the option to activate vibration when an icon is pressed.

Last but not least, the new multi-function actuator with 16 independent outputs, to control lights, scenarios, logic functions, roller shutters and fan coils, which also features the KNX Secure protocol.
