Vimar acquires a majority share in Elvox
Vimar has today signed an agreement to acquire an additional 50% of Elvox holding, taking its capital share in the Padua-based company to 75%.
This acquisition gives Vimar control of Elvox and will enable it to integrate all the areas of business of both Veneto-based companies into a single strategic development plan, enabling it to enhance its market competitiveness by offering a comprehensive package of solutions for the residential and service sectors.
This transaction will result in a merger between two leading international manufacturing companies which already share a long tradition and a strong presence on key markets based on the superior technical quality of their products, intense Research and Development and a commitment to the ‘Made in Italy’ ethos. Indeed, both companies have chosen to design and produce their products exclusively in Italy.
- Vimar, a leading Italian manufacturer of electrical materials and home and building automation systems, has been operating around the world for over 65 years and has an annual turnover of approximately 200 million Euros.
