A new prestigious system installation carried out by Vimar. Following the use of its products both for the Bosco Verticale (The Vertical Wood) - nominated the Most Beautiful Skyscraper in the World in 2015 - and for the only Luxury Seven Star Luxury Hotel in Piazza del Duomo in Milan, the company has supplied its technology to the widespread hotel facilities which the Venissa Wine Resort has recently opened in Burano.
Conceived to offer an authentic experience in contact with the traditions and beauties of the Venezia Nativa islands, this accommodation is available to guests of the Venissa Estate, where the Bisol family has revived the ancient Dorona grape variety of Venice. Guests of the Wine Resort will be able to stay in one of the rooms that are located inside the manor house of the estate on the island of Mazzorbo, or else in one of the widespread accommodation houses on the island of Burano.
And it is here - in what were once the town’s characteristic colourful houses, home to lace-makers and fishermen - that extremely sophisticated but user-friendly Vimar technology was installed to further enhance the comfort of its guests.
In these residences, a touch of exclusive elegance is provided by the beauty of the Eikon Evo series, which sets the mood for all the Vimar devices installed. These accurately monitor and control the lighting and electricity in all the rooms, while ensuring functionality and comfort. An imperceptible presence, with a delicate charm and in line with the latest interior design trends, Eikon Evo enchants for its geometric shapes that highlight the ultra-thin profile and essential details. The cover plates are in total white aluminium, a finish that blends perfectly with the walls and floors. To provide a perfect welcome to every guest, each room has card reader slots. Simply place the card in the slot to switch on the lights and set the temperature to the required level.
Each residence has also been equipped with an external video door phone station, developed with Elvox 2 Fili Plus technology... providing fast and safe communications between inside and outside. The nameplates on the external stations were handcrafted by skilled local craftsmen and include an external card reader. This means that guests need only touch the reader with their card to open the door electronically.
While the control devices are used to satisfy any requirements the customer might have inside the room, the overall hotel management system - developed on KNX standard - is run by a centralised control unit. The check-in and check-out procedures in the residences, notifying the presence of guests, technical or emergency alarms to indicate any breakdowns of the electrical devices and requests for intervention on the part of the customer; the condition of the lights and the temperature: everything can be programmed and supervised from a single point.
Thanks to the contribution of Vimar technology, guests of Venissa will be able to enjoy a comfortable and worry-free stay with one goal: discovering a corner of paradise on one of the best loved and most visited UNESCO sites in the world, the Venice lagoon.
