Giardini del Petrarca (Petrarca’s Gardens): a high-quality housing project, powered by Vimar technology

1920x800 Giardini del Petrarca: un progetto di housing di qualità grazie alla tecnologia di Vimar 1920x800

Nestled on the heights of Monte Berico, in one of Vicenza's most exclusive neighbourhoods, the "Giardini del Petrarca" residence is a high-quality housing project designed by ASA Studio Albanese and brought to life by Noaro Costruzioni.

This architectural marvel spans seven levels, rising elegantly with a dynamic volumetric composition. Key features include perimeter terraces clad in warm wood, which gracefully recede on the upper floors, creating an ascending rhythm towards the sky. The exclusive penthouse, crowned by a sinuous, zinc-titanium clad structure, boasts an infinity pool that seems to merge seamlessly with the horizon. Expansive outdoor spaces transform into hanging gardens, adorned with carefully selected trees and plants, harmonising seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. Façades, featuring textured colours and soft tones, alternate between matt surfaces and grand glazed openings: a play of blocks and voids that maximises natural light within the interiors.

This prestigious collection of private residences comprises 11 elegant apartments, 2 penthouses, and two entirely independent villas, crafted from the restoration of an original "barchessa" (a traditional Venetian rural service building). A project conceived to embrace a cutting-edge lifestyle, while upholding high standards of sustainability, where Vimar seamlessly integrates with its innovative smart home solutions.

Among the residential units, we will describe two in particular as examples of ultimate comfort: an independent villa and an apartment, with interiors curated by Architect Simone Andrighetto. In both residences, to manage all the functions of the home synergistically and make them smart, the View Wireless system was chosen, enabling control of lighting, temperature, automations for blinds and roller shutters, monitoring electricity consumption and individual appliance loads: all controllable from a smartphone or tablet via the View App. The system goes beyond optimising the indoor climate and lighting for maximum energy saving; it also fosters sustainable living by minimising excess waste. Completing the system is the Tab 7S Up video entryphone, now also the supervisor of the View Wireless connected system; in addition to allowing you to answer entryphone calls, it manages all the functions in the home, calling up scenarios and monitoring consumption. Positioned outside, the Pixel grey aluminium entrance panel, equipped with a camera with wide-angle lens and characterised by extensive modularity and compatibility.

The detached villa, furnished in a minimalist style, spans two floors connected by a striking cantilevered staircase crafted from bent black sheet metal. A single open space on the ground floor is cleverly divided by thoughtfully placed furniture elements, where the kitchen, bathed in light from expansive windows, seamlessly opens onto the living area. Beyond the aviation blue accents, which inject vibrancy into the neutral grey tones, the clean-cut and unmistakable design of Vimar’s Linea series stands out in its total look canvas version. The aligned controls with patented in-line technology, featuring a gentle curve to make use even more straightforward, protrude with a strong personality, particularly on the fluted panelling in the living area, the wallpaper in the bedrooms, the stoneware wall coverings of the bathrooms, and the white walls. A true design element, in an environment where details make all the difference.

The second residential unit, nestled within the modern architectural complex, presents a refined and welcoming design. The herringbone wood flooring adds warmth to the ambiance, complemented by tiling in shades of grey and beige and elegant wall panelling. The relaxing atmosphere is enlivened by the presence of colourful accessories, such as paintings, rugs, and leather armchairs. A touch of class to enhance the interior details comes from the choice of the Arké Classic wiring series, in the total look white version. Rational geometric shapes, a linear profile and sharp angles: timeless charm, discreetly and harmoniously integrated into the spaces.

Built according to the most innovative architectural and technological criteria, Giardini del Petrarca constitutes a residential complex of excellence, capable of combining the comfort of modern living with an eco-friendly and sustainable perspective. The Vimar smart home plays a fundamental role in all this, providing a perfect fusion of simplicity, efficiency, savings, and design.
