Question: | What is the difference between the IoT connected dial thermostat and the home automation system dial thermostat? |
---|---|
Answer: | 02973: Thermostat for IoT connected Wireless system, in other words our system which, via the Bluetooth Mesh protocol, enables various devices in the range to communicate with one another via Wireless and to be managed via the VIEW App through the IoT connected gateway. 02971: Thermostat for By-me Plus home automation system, in other words Vimar’s home automation system via wired BUS for the creation of larger-spanning Home Automation systems of greater technical complexity. |
Question: | Does the thermostat have the same functions as a timer-thermostat (daily or weekly temperature control, holidays etc.)? |
Answer: | Product art. 02973, if linked to a connected gateway (e.g. art. 14597 for the Plana series) and managed via the VIEW App, makes it possible to achieve the weekly timer-thermostat programming function, for which up to 3 customised temperature levels can be defined for every day of the week. |
Question: | In order to control the temperature in the various rooms, does the dial thermostat connect to the radiator thermostatic valves? |
Answer: | The connected thermostat is not designed to interface directly with a smart thermostatic valve, but to manage via its on-board relay a traditional solenoid valve connected to it by a wire. |
