A place exuding history and luxury, where travel and experience are all about comfort: introducing Ca' Apollonio Heritage, in the heart of the Piedmont foothills, at the foot of Monte Grappa.
Its story begins far back: the building, which today hosts a restaurant and a gourmet bistro, dates back to the late 16th Century, when it was a large farmhouse belonging to landowners and prominent figures. Today, it tells the story and the dream of its owners, who bought it in 2015 and gave the premises a new lease of life with great respect for its tradition and original architecture. Their restoration project brought the building back to life while supporting the surrounding territory.
The two souls of the venue are the restaurant and the bistro, where food and wine become an experience and a journey to discover local aromas and flavours, and where the watchwords are quality and local produce. Every detail illustrates the strong bond that Ca’ Apollonio enjoys with its territory: a bond which led the owners to choose local suppliers and producers who have made the history and culture of these places for the restoration and management of this unique location.
Ca’ Apollonio is all about hospitality and well-being: as soon as one enters through the main gate and travels along the driveway leading to the building, an atmosphere of total relaxation and luxury can be appreciated. Surrounded by vineyards and meadows, it feels like stepping into another world. As soon as guests cross the threshold, they are greeted by a lounge and an exposed kitchen: the walls of the sitting area and bistro are adorned with representations of Canova’s most famous works illustrating the sculptor’s nearby wonders. As guests enter the dining hall, they are surrounded by a noble and silent atmosphere, with its frescoed ceiling and soft colours: this is where the journey of taste comes to life. A huge marble staircase leads up to the mezzanine floor: an old-world sitting room to relax and admire the fantastic surroundings from the top of the windows.
And on to the wine cellar: a gem that preserves the treasures which the land and the vineyards surrounding Ca’ Apollonio offer up. Stocked with four hundred labels and two thousand selected bottles, the tasting room is a unique and wonderful world waiting to be discovered, where guests can savour products that are not only of the highest quality but which also tell the tale of passion, toil, commitment as well as innovation, with an extensive choice of wines made with PIWI fungus-resistant grape varieties.
Vimar and its products are right at home in this world of localisms, all-Italian quality and of stories of bonds with the territory. A place like Ca’ Apollonio, which centres around the total well-being of its guests, requires the utmost efficiency also in terms of lighting and climate control with the creation of specific scenarios: that is exactly why the Well-contact Plus building automation system on KNX protocol was picked, as it makes it possible to control the facility entirely from a PC: the reception therefore becomes the control room to ensure ultimate levels of comfort and well-being for guests.
The wiring series selected is Eikon Exé, with an anthracite grey cover plate, since its simple and sophisticated silhouettes blend in seamlessly with the setting; enhancing its elegance: the dark hues of the cover plates framing the socket outlets, thermostats, push buttons and sensors match the neutral shades of the walls and furniture. The result is an extremely alluring effect: the gaze embraces the premises where every detail is designed to treat guests to a feeling of well-being and elegance. The Eikon Tactil controls outside the lifts add an additional luxurious touch, with their black glass finish, fitted in walls in the same colour.
Comfort and safety are essential at Ca’ Apollonio, and this is guaranteed by the video surveillance system with Elvox CCTV cameras installed outside the facility.
Ca’ Apollonio is a project that stems from a dream that is constantly evolving, to offer guests ultimate levels of luxury and comfort, in premises which support and nurture the surrounding territory.
